Streamline MSP Operations with the HaloPSA Integration for Bitdefender GravityZone

This new Bitdefender integration enables MSPs to streamline service workflows, automate license and usage billing, and gain complete visibility into client protection status. Connecting Bitdefender GravityZone with the HaloPSA tenant ensures synchronized data and centralized control across both security and service operations. 

Connecting Clients Across GravityZone and HaloPSA

MSPs can now map existing GravityZone companies (or create new ones) to HaloPSA clients for streamlined billing and ticketing operations. These mappings are kept in sync, and if any issues arise, the integration will notify the MSP to take corrective action. Potential issues may include cases where a GravityZone or HaloPSA client no longer exists, configured HaloPSA items or invoice templates are missing, or service desk tickets cannot be created or automatically closed. 

Seamless Asset Synchronization Across Platforms

The integration enables mapping HaloPSA assets to GravityZone endpoints, ensuring that every device managed in GravityZone is accurately referenced in HaloPSA. This allows all service desk tickets to automatically include the associated asset details, enhancing traceability and providing valuable context for your support team. Asset mapping can be performed manually or automatically on mapped HaloPSA clients using the Smart Match option, simplifying setup and maintaining accurate associations across environments. 

Automated Billing and Reporting for Enhanced Accuracy

To maintain accurate and consistent billing, the integration automatically collects the number of active protected endpoints and enabled add-ons for each managed company and reports them to HaloPSA every month. The data is then used to calculate service costs and generate invoices through a recurring invoice template, ensuring reliable and transparent monthly billing. This automation reduces manual effort, prevents billing discrepancies, and saves valuable administrative time. 

Streamlined Ticketing for Faster Incident Response

Through the integration, critical GravityZone security events now automatically trigger HaloPSA tickets for faster incident response. These include detections from modules such as Advanced Anti-Exploit, Advanced Threat Control, Antimalware, Antiphishing, EDR (with customizable severity thresholds), Firewall, Web Traffic Scan, Sandbox Analyzer, Ransomware Detection, Network Attack Defense, and HyperDetect™. This ensures that MSPs’ service teams are instantly notified of incidents and can respond quickly to investigate threats. When multiple detections of the same type occur while a related ticket is still open, the integration updates the existing ticket instead of creating a new one, keeping the service desk organized and maintaining a clear view of ongoing incidents.
